At the end of September, our Foundation was a partner of the conference "THE BEST WAY TO PREDICT THE FUTURE IS TO CREATE IT. THE NEXT 100 YEARS OF RELATIONS WITH THE U.S. THE CASE STUDY OF POLAND", on the future of Poland's relations with the United States, organized by the Kulski Foundation in Washington and co-organized the workshop: " How Poland and the United States can cooperate on further space exploration". The panel's guest of honour was the first Polish cosmonaut, General Mirosław Hermaszewski.
The panel plan was divided into 3 parts. Past, present and future. General Mirosław Hermaszewski spoke about the challenges he used to face before his space flight. Mr. Jose Morey, a NASA engineer, together with Mr. Maciej Misura, a representative of the Polish Space Sector, spoke about the present and the current opportunities and directions of development for space technology and programmes. Mr Brendan Curry from Planetary Society together with Mr Stefan Cichowski spoke about future challenges and the promotion of space to future generations.
