We are launching a new edition of our vital initiative! The Sopot-based My Space Love Story Foundation, in collaboration with our strategic partner the ORLEN Group, is proud to continue the ORLEN Safety Academy in 2023!
The core objective of the Safety Academy for Children remains unchanged: building knowledge and raising awareness among young road users. We are proud to share that our initiative continues to earn strong praise from local communities and alumni of previous editions.
Throughout May and June 2023, sessions will take place across 15 schools in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
The ORLEN Safety Academy features both theoretical and practical components. In the classroom, instructors cover essential traffic regulations, teaching students about road signs, intersection dynamics, and proper pedestrian and cyclist etiquette. Special guest speakers—including paramedics and firefighters—lead interactive first aid sessions, equipping children with the knowledge and skills to react calmly and effectively during emergencies.
Following theoretical preparation, students transition to the practical phase within a custom-designed mobile traffic park. Featuring marked intersections, traffic signs, signals, and simulated road users, the park allows participants to apply their knowledge on bicycles under realistic conditions. This experience serves as both a practical safety test and an engaging activity for young learners.
To recognize their dedication, participants receive branded gift items—including reflective accessories, drawstring bags, and t-shirts—provided by our strategic partner, the ORLEN Group, and the My Space Love Story Foundation.
Instilling road safety and personal responsibility early in life creates lifelong habits. Road safety impacts everyone, regardless of age, making proactive educational initiatives essential for building safer communities.
