At the end of September, our foundation partnered in the conference "THE BEST WAY TO PREDICT THE FUTURE IS TO CREATE IT" – THE NEXT 100 YEARS OF RELATIONS WITH THE US – THE CASE STUDY OF POLAND, focusing on the future of Polish-American relations. The event was organized by the Kulski Foundation in Washington, D.C., where we co-hosted the workshop: "How Poland and the United States Can Cooperate on Further Space Exploration." The guest of honor for the panel was the first Polish astronaut, General Mirosław Hermaszewski.
The panel was structured into three parts: Past, Present, and Future. General Mirosław Hermaszewski discussed the challenges he faced leading up to his spaceflight. Dr. Jose Morey, a NASA engineer, alongside Maciej Misura, a representative of the Polish Space Sector, addressed the present state, current capabilities, and developmental directions of space technologies and programs. Brendan Curry, representing The Planetary Society, together with Stefan Cichowski, spoke on future challenges and promoting space exploration among upcoming generations.
