Poland First
In our latest project, thanks to the strategic partnership with the Energa Foundation, we had the privilege of participating in a unique celebration of Polish heritage - the Pulaski Parade. This parade commemorates General Kazimierz Pulaski, a Polish hero in the fight for the independence of the United States, and it takes place on the first Sunday of October in New York.
The Pulaski Parade is deeply rooted in the local culture, with its origins dating back to 1936. It runs between 35th and 54th Streets in Manhattan, passing by landmarks such as St. Patrick's Cathedral.
On the first of October, in collaboration with the American Polonia, we set up a specially prepared platform with a grand piano and a talented pianist playing the most famous compositions of Fryderyk Chopin, a world-renowned composer and pianist. The vehicle was adorned with the colors of the Polish national flag and other symbols associated with our country.
Our primary goal in this project was to promote patriotism among fellow countrymen living abroad by providing them with the opportunity to connect with the genius of Poland's most outstanding pianist. We aimed to enable immigrants and their descendants to learn what Poland is famous for and what values it represents.
We believe that our participation in the parade has sparked greater interest in Polish history and our national heritage. We are committed to ensuring that individuals living in the diaspora understand the fame of their home country and nurture this knowledge in the youngest generations.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the individuals involved, both in Poland and the United States, who helped us achieve our goals. In particular, we want to thank the Energa Foundation, our strategic partner, for jointly promoting the values of our beautiful country.
