CHOPIN IN SPACE concert

The culmination of the conference "international meeting of the space industry sector" was an amazing concert "Chopin in Space", which took place in the World War II Museum.
The soundtrack consisted of ten pieces by Fryderyk Chopin. A CD with Chopin's compositions was taken into space by colonel George D. Zamka - commander of the sts-130 endeavour spaceflight.
The performer was the pianist Karol Radziwonowicz, who after his recital in Carnegie Hall in 2001 was acclaimed by American critics as "a pianist carrying the torch of Chopin and Paderewski".
The artist was accompanied by the Sinfoniaviva Orchestra, conducted by Tomasz Radziwonowicz, composed of the most talented graduates of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw.
It was a performance emanating with positive energy, joy of experiencing every moment of life and admiration for the beauty of the world.
The whole project was directed by Adam Ustynowicz.
PKN Orlen was the patron of the concert "Chopin in Space" was.
Another partner of the concert and our support was the Lotto S.A. brand, owned by Totalizator Sportowy - one of the most recognizable and renowned Polish companies, operating continuously for 64 years.
