The "COVID-19 - Does the Pandemic Affect Human Mental Health? How to Address the Invisible Negative Effects of the Pandemic?" conference took place on October 20, 2022.
The event was organized in October to coincide with World Mental Health Day. This year's edition was held under the theme "Make Mental Health and Well-being a Global Priority for Everyone." In collaboration with our strategic partner, PKN Orlen, we organized a conference aimed at drawing attention to the deteriorating mental health of society following the pandemic.
The conference was divided into five thematic sessions led by distinguished doctors and medical professionals:
The COVID Reality from the Perspective of Physicians Treating SARS-CoV-2 Patients – Dr. Arkadiusz Błaszczyk
Emotional Reactions and Psychological Consequences of the Pandemic – Dr. Iwona Wasilewko
Adolescents during the Pandemic – Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Maria Rotkiel
COVID-19 and Beyond: The Role of Physiotherapy in Managing COVID-19 Patients – Physiotherapy MSc, Mirosław Młyński
Hyperbaric Chamber as an Over-the-Counter Remedy – Marta Kołakowska
After each presentation, participants had the opportunity to take part in a panel discussion.
